I am a poet, essayist, foodie and children’s book author who explores her world through words, which are my tools for digging into my Iraqi-Jewish roots. Words are what I love to conjure over a pot, mixed with garlic, onion and ginger, to feed my husband, four boys (and dog). Words are my bridge from my kitchen to the world.
