I had a wonderful evening sharing Shoham’s Bangle’s story with the Iraqi Jewish community of Kahal Joseph in Los Angeles. I was humbled to hear their stories, and inspired to receive their encouragement and blessings to continue spreading the history and traditions of the ancient Babylonian Jewish community we come from. And of course it was a fun bake off of Ba’aba Tamar with the Judeo-Arabic speaking ladies guild and the Sephardic Spice Girls. There’s nothing better than baking the Iraqi Jewish date cookies Shoham baked with her Nana with friends and family.
